Olive Oil Honey Cake
Ingredients

2 1/2 cups
Flour
-
1/4 cup
Sugar
-
1/2 cup
Milk
-
1
Egg
-
1/3 cup
Olive oil
-
1/3 cup
Honey
-
Pinch
Salt
-
2 tsp
Yeast
Directions
-
Warm up milk in small sauce pan, add pinch of sugar and sprinkle yeast. Wait until yeast foams up a bit.
- Measure flour, add salt to measuring cup and blend a bit with a spoon.
- In bowl, beat eggs, add sugar olive oil and honey. Add yeast/milk mixture.
- Add flour to the wet ingredients, mixing with a wooden spoon. Empty onto floured surface and knead for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Let rest.
- Punch down and place into oiled loaf pan or shaped into round and place on oiled cookie sheet.
- Let rise, place in 375F oven for 45 min to 1 hr.
