European Markets Part Two

As you can see in this and our previous European Markets post, the variety of products that can be found at markets is limitless.  Whether you're looking for pickles, honey, ferrets, second hand clothing, olive oil or durian, there's a market somewhere ready to cater to your needs.

When in a new city, town or village head over to the market and talk to local vendors, see, smell and taste your way to a better understanding of that specific part of the world and support the local economy while you do it.

  4. The sign on the picture with the strawberries actually says "tasty cherries 3,98" in Dutch. Don't know why, but love your market photo's!

For your next trip to Italy you could check www.myitalyselection.com for my exclusive selection of agriturismo's in Italy. I'm pretty sure you will like the combination of home made food and great hospitality in the Italian country side.
